Monica Gover joined the New Bern Evergreen family after serving the Eastern North Carolina community for 24 years at the CarolinaEast Medical Center as the staff Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist. Monica completed her degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1997. After graduating, she moved to a challenging position in downtown Chicago, IL working at a fast-paced multiple office facility where she gained valuable experience and skills caring for a wide range of patients. Ready for a change, her next position was in rural upstate New York where she opened a new office for a growing practice and honed her skills by working independently. Monica moved to New Bern more than 25 years ago to be close to family. She is now with Evergreen to continue using her knowledge and skills to fulfill her passion for helping improve the lives of others. She carefully listens to her patients to understand their needs and concerns and develops a treatment plan to best meet their needs. Monica and her husband David have 3 children and enjoy family time together at the beach or in the mountains.
